Why sign up for CyberBase?

#ShareTheMicInCyber and the R Street Institute are excited to collaborate to provide CyberBase, a community that highlights Black talent in the cybersecurity world. In support of R Street’s “Making Space” pledge and #ShareTheMicInCyber, we are creating a resource that identifies new voices to include in panels, board seats, media engagements and other collaborations. Black cybersecurity practitioners should submit information if they are interested in sharing their expertise with new organizations or in public settings for opportunities such as speaking engagements, board seats or research projects.

Why sign up for CyberBase? Below are just a few of the benefits:

  • Join a collective network of cybersecurity professionals across different companies and organizations.
  • Become a thought leader and expert for cybersecurity-related opportunities including events, media, talks and policy creation.
  • Contribute to the industry on a national level and be potentially included on an annual list of experts to watch.
  • Gain insider access to industry townhalls, national policy updates and discussions.
  • Be listed among a group of vetted cybersecurity professionals.

By submitting this form you give the R Street Institute’s Making Space Initiative, #ShareTheMicInCyber, and all of their affiliates permission to publicly post or share this information with other partners and use it for R Street Institute, Making Space, or CyberBase-related marketing campaigns. Please submit your information as you’d like to see it reflected publicly in your CyberBase entry. You will be contacted for approval before publishing. Bios will be edited for brevity and clarity.

If you’d like to nominate more than one individual, please feel free to submit another nomination.

If you have any questions, please contact R Street’s Jumoke Dada via email at makingspace@rstreet.org
