Matthew Braun is the regional vice president for the NCC Group, a global information security consultancy. He has over a decade of experience in information systems, with a focus on web application, network architecture and security. During his 10+ year career at NCC, Braun has performed application and network penetration testing, source code review, mobile security, threat modeling and design reviews, reverse engineering and security research. Prior to the NCC Group, he worked in systems administration, financial analysis, and as a Department of Defense contractor for source review and security auditing.

Braun has a BS and MS in computer science from Washington University in St. Louis and the University of Chicago, respectively. Outside of work, he enjoys sailing, woodworking, cooking, and is a board member on the Human Resources and Finance committee of an arts nonprofit.
